If you were a youngster in the 80s and 90s like I was, you remember such classic films as Strange Brew, Spaceballs, Honey I shrunk The Kids, Ghostbusters I and II, Little Shop Of Horrors, Brewster’s Millions, and Parenthood. What do all these movies have in common? Rick Moranis. Arguably, the Best actor in all of human history on this earth. Fond memories of my favorite actor inspired me to do research on Rick Moranis today, in 2008. My findings were both shocking and disturbing.

The Rick Moranis you knew and loved is no more. His name is now Rick “Cougar” Moranis and he is a Canadian country music singer. His top hits include “4 more beers,” “It’s the champagne talking.” I would imagine these titles are reflections of his drinking induced career decisions. His new, possibly self describing album is called “Agoraphobic Cowboy.” Mr. Moranis, this idea is worse than your acting in “Streets Of Fire.”
